Knowledge test: Multiple-choice questions completed online. Unlimited attempts.

Validity: The certificate is valid for 2 years. Recertification is done by retaking the course or completing a Lean Six Sigma project.

Who is this course for?

The Champion course is designed for managers, team leaders, and project owners who lead or support improvement work in their organisation. It is also well suited for those who already have Yellow, Green, or Black Belt experience and want to better understand the leadership role in improvement work.

Do I need prior knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma?

No. The course starts with foundational concepts and builds knowledge step by step. If you already have Lean Six Sigma experience, you will recognise much of the content and progress more quickly.

What is Ethical Efficiency™?

Ethical Efficiency™ is GLSS's concept for driving improvement without compromising respect for employees, safety, or sustainability. It is about balancing productivity with responsibility for people and long-term values.

What is the difference between Champion and Yellow/Green/Black Belt?

Yellow, Green, and Black Belt teach you to solve problems and carry out improvement projects. Champion teaches you to prioritise the right projects, follow them up, remove barriers, and build a culture of continuous improvement. Champion is a leadership course, not a technical course.

How much time do I need to set aside?

The course takes approximately 2 hours in total and is completed at your own pace. You have access for 1 year.
