  • Module 3: Measure phase — Mapping the process and collecting data.
  • Module 4: Analyse phase — Analysing data and proving root causes.
  • Module 5: Improve phase — Selecting and implementing solutions.
  • Module 6: Control phase — Ensuring lasting results and handing over to the process owner.

Certification

Certification

Certificate: You receive a Green Belt certificate when you have completed the course and passed the knowledge test.

Knowledge test: 80 multiple-choice questions. You must answer 80% correctly within 80 minutes. Unlimited attempts.

Validity: The certificate is valid for 2 years. Recertification is done by retaking the course or completing a Lean Six Sigma project.

PDUs: The course earns 4 PDUs (PMI) for project managers.

Who is this course for?

Green Belt is for anyone who leads or participates in improvement projects and wants a structured method to build on. It is also a natural next step after Yellow Belt.

Do I need prior knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma?

No, but Yellow Belt or a basic understanding of problem-solving is an advantage. The introduction module gives you everything you need to get started.

How much time do I need to set aside?

The course takes approximately 4 hours in total and is completed at your own pace. You have access for 1 year.

What is the difference between Yellow Belt and Green Belt?

Yellow Belt gives you the foundation for structured problem-solving in your everyday work. Green Belt goes further: you learn to lead improvement projects, work with data and statistics, and document savings. Green Belt is recommended if leading improvement work is part of your role.

What is the difference between Green Belt (GLSS) and Lean Tech's own Green Belt course?

The GLSS Green Belt is a self-paced e-learning course of approximately 4 hours. Lean Tech's Green Belt course combines e-learning with online meetings and 3 classroom days, and includes personal coaching and a Lego simulation. Lean Tech's course is best suited for those who want more hands-on follow-up and coaching.

How do I get certified?

You receive a Green Belt certificate when you have completed the course and passed the knowledge test. The test has 80 multiple-choice questions, and you must answer 80% correctly within 80 minutes. You have unlimited attempts. The certificate is valid for 2 years.
